just finished TGWTDT...found it started a little slow...but, in retrospect it gave you a good foundation for the remainder of the book....LOVED the stories of both Lisbeth & Mikael...have just purchsed TGWPWF and plan to enjoy it as well. So sorry there are currently only 3 books to read. I like his writing style

I love the Millenium's books.
It is a pity that the author died so young.

Tried to read "The Girl Who Played with Fire", it is a piece of literary garbage. Not even going to take this trash to the used book store. It will go out with the normal trash.

What type of books are you used to reading that you found this brilliant book unreadable? I am at a loss.

I thought the three books were excellent and the last the best.

I don`t think that this books are so great. Sorry. Read Mr. James Patterson, he is a lot better than Mr. Larsson. Is no mistery in the trilogy, nothing. Reader from the beggining know how the book will be finish. I read all 3 books (I`m reading around 3, 4 books a week) so I think, I can write my opinion. Thank You.

Well, it much have made some impact on you since you took the time and the energy to go in to this site...
I loved them :)
- Angela, 11 Mars 2011
Well Maggie, apart from the children's books he writes, I have read almost all James Patterson's books and thoroughly enjoyed each one. Also Harlan Coben, he too is very good. I am nearly at the end of TGWTDT and thoroughly enjoying it. There are many authors I enjoy, and wouldn't dream of comparing them. No one author can satisfy all. So many authors, so many books, not enough time!
- Lynda, 13 Mars 2011
Find James Patterson's books just awful - they have deteriorated as he has become more popular- he is a hack now. No comparing him to the author of these three books. .

Just finished TGWTDT. Whew, what an amazing read! I am eager to read more of the Millenium-series. I am saddened to learn of Stieg's passing. A light was extinguished too early in the literary world.

Just finished watching "The girl who kicked the hornests nest". The movies were great. Haven't seen much made here in the states that intrigues as much as this trilogy has. Noomi does a fantastic job as Lisbeth and the plot keeps you hooked till the end.

I am very concerned that the book (hornet) finished differently to the movie!!!! WHY????? Did she let Mikael into the apartment or not????? The answer actually severely influences the finale.

I am half way finished with the last in the Triology having already read the first two books in record time. Can't say enough about how good the books are; however, I was sorry that I saw the movie version of TGWTDT before finishing the books. I had envisioned different characters and locations. I think David Fincher has the capability of making a great film and I am looking forward to seeing it. As for Eva, give her a share in the book and movie proceeds, she did something for Stieg that neither his brother or father could do for him which is to give him the kind of love that only a companion can give. I am sure living with a writer is a lonely role and she must have done it well or he would have run her off long before. Also, let her finish the 4th book. She is bound tp have been a sounding board for his ideas.

Just seen TGWKTHN and now reading a there will be Hollywood remake. Will take a pass on that one. the H'wood version will sink to long drawn out scenes of every brutality and sexual horror imaginable, thinking that makes a good movie. even with sub-tittles enjoyed the original.
- old movieguy, 16 Mars 2011
Hello? The Hollywood movie will clean up the sex scenes, to avoid a NC-17 or X rating.
