Boxed set edition of the Millennium Trilogy, the first volume of which, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, has been adapted as a major Hollywood film starring Daniel Craig to be released on the 26th December.
The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo is one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. I was never one for Mystery/Thriller books but this one converted me and I do not regret it in the least. Stieg Larsson has done an execellent job of creating his characters, especially Salander and Blomkvist. I absolutely cannot wait for The Girl Who Played With Fire to finally come out! I can only wish that Mr. Larsson's unwavering fans are a comfort to him wherever he is now. Thank you, Mr. Larsson, I know I'm not the only one grateful to the masterpieces you have left here with us.

I loved Stieg Larsson's books. They really made me think about the violence against women and racism behavior in Brazil and why women repeat their silence about these questions. Perhaps, do we need more Lisbeth Salander's examples ?

Just finished the first book ( in german: "Verblendung"). I was so unsatisfied with the ending until I read that there are actually more parts. Now I'm going to get the rest as soon as I can. Especially because I totally felt in love with Lisbeth Salander <3

I am almost done with this book and sorry to be done. It is hard to believe I will have to wait 5 months or so for the next one. This was by far the best book I have ever read. It is a real tragedy that Stieg is not with us to write more masterpieces.

Finally January 2009 is coming!!! I hope i can find the 3rd book in Italy really in this month.
I've read only the second book (la ragazza che giocava con il fuoco) in italian and i loved it.
Davvero un gran peccato che un autore con un talento cosi' straordinario se ne sia andato.
Grande Stieg, peccato che qui sulla terra tu abbia lasciato un grande vuoto.

I haven't yet finished the first book (in spanish: Los hombres que no amaban a las mujeres) and this morning I've already bought the second one. Great story, perfect book to get you through the Christmas celebrations. It is keeping me interested from the very first page.
Thanks Stieg.

I was surfing the net and looking for a good book to read and came upon Stephen King's rave review (@ EW.com) of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and thought it would keep me busy over the Christmas holidays. I polished it off in no time as it was far better than I ever would have imagined. I agree with King as the true shame is the loss of such a great talent. I can't wait for the translation of the next books!
