It's amazing this first novel of the Millenium trilogy... I'm in Helsinki for the holidays and i just finished reading the book.

Fantastic! Instead of going out, I spent my holidays reading the first volume. It's really amazing. The book is like an addictive. First time in my life that in the middle of the book I didn't resist and read the last pages... The story is really great. You will like it. Now I'm waiting for the second volume!

I started the trilogy with the second book The girl who played with fire, because in the public library of my small town the first one was already out and many people were waiting to read it. I'll not wait any longer: i'll go to the book shop this afternoon to buy the first book of the trilogy Uomini che odiano le donne in the italian translation. And I will borrow it to my mother, who made me discover the incredible world of Mr Larsson. I hope everybody who will read these books will have all the fun and suspence I had!!!

"Behind Stieg Larsson was a woman who shared his life and love for 32 years. When he died Stieg's familly took everything over from her, leaving her nothing.
When you buy his books you sadly sponsor this awful betrayal"
So "truth", what can we do? Not reading his books?, send her the money personally? What? Give us ideas! Not only criticism.
By the way, I've just finished the first book, really amazing! Waiting for the the other two impatiently!!
Thank you very much Mr. Larsson, and your wife for her longtime support. Hope she's doing alright.

Just read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and have read it in a day as unable to put it down. Looking forwards to getting the other two books. Brilliant.

Finished reading the trilogy (French version) tonight. Storytelling and suspense I cannot remember to have experienced yet. Lost some hours of sleep, well worth it.
You may recognise Stockholm and the swedish society. I'm truly sorry that Stieg does not live to see the success.
Applause to the translators!

It was really wonderful reading the first part of the trilogy! I can't wait to buy the second and third parts and am wondering how I'll manage to stay patient till their release in 2009 and 2010. It's a pity Stieg Larsson would not be among us to write other books like these and bring a lot of joy and pleasure to all of us...
I read the first part in English but I would probably enjoy it even more if it was in Bulgarian.
