Boxed set edition of the Millennium Trilogy, the first volume of which, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, has been adapted as a major Hollywood film starring Daniel Craig to be released on the 26th December.
These books are some of the best I've read in awhile. I couldn't put them down. Noomi is perfectly cast. She is what I imagined when reading the books. I am sorry that Mr. Larsson is no longer around to finish what he started.

Why redo these movies? Have the dialogue changed to English and let it go.Noomi is terrific. How ridiculous to think Hollywood can do these films better than the Swedes.

I had problems with this book. I felt the characters were not fully developed. I never knew how they felt. The main character just hopped in and out of beds with various people but never had any feelings about any of them.
The violent sex scenes added nothing to the story. It seemed they may have been the sexual fantasies of the author. I did not enjoy the book......as I never understood any of the characters. comments please......

Read it again- slowly this time- I think you missed the entire mechanics of the characters and plot....

I suppose it might depend on whether she has any expertise as a writer in considering whether Gabrielsson might finish this 4th novel.. Simply being the chosen mate of a writer confers absolutely NO qualifications to continue the work of Larsson. What on earth is the push to finish the "unfinished". Leave the man's life work as it is without others tinkering with the material and trying to read the author's deceased mind. Ridiculous!
