Bought "the girl with the dragon tattoo" on impulse last summer and was so impressed with it that I have subsequently read the next two books in the series (each of them in only a few days). Fabulous work. Would recommend them to anybody.

Excellent books. So good that I actually bought them. I thank him for his talent and dedication to Truth. It is a shame that he had to pass so soon as there were plenty of words left for him to express and us to enjoy. I found the expose of Swedens' underground very surprising and disturbing but very enlightening. I would never have guessed.

I guess it is too much to ask that anybody realize that Nazi's were extreme left wing politically? Not really germaine to the conversation, but an annoyance nonetheless.

Nope -- fascism is a right-wing political ideology.

Brilliant movie - excellent casting for Lisbeth - this girl is wonderful, what a fabulous character. Looking forward to the other two movies and what can be reconstructed for the end of Book 4.
Please, please, please use red subtitles - there is nothing more frustrating than being so engrossed and to be blind-sided.

I haven't read the books and saw the film today, quite by accident really (i wasn't sure it would be my 'thing') and though I found the subtitles a little distracting at first (the language seemed to be holding my attention more than the subtitles!) I soon got carried away by the incredible storyline and the acting was superb. Two hours passed before I knew it,I headed straight for the nearest bookstore and have purchased two in the trilogy and have ordered the third.
May you rest in peace Mr Larsson.
