Boxed set edition of the Millennium Trilogy, the first volume of which, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, has been adapted as a major Hollywood film starring Daniel Craig to be released on the 26th December.
There is a movie with English subtitles. I am seeing it on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Part of our NPR (KCRW)station's gift for subscribing at a certain level. We see about 10 movies a year, before they are released to the public.

These books were just so amazing. I am now half way with the 3rd book. Once I start I want dont to stop. I hope rumours are correcty and that there is a 4th or 5th or 6th book. Such a pity he did not live to see how well his books sold. I want the story to go on and on.

Ah, to have at least experienced the thrill of Solander has been enough.

I had the pleasure of reading the Millennium Trilogy over a period of 5 days. I did little else but eat and sleep - so engrosed was I in these novels. Without a doubt, the best crime fiction read ever! I didn't want the story to end...and I feel profoundly sad that a great talent, Stieg Larsson, is gone.

I was so very, very sad to learn that he had died. I couldn't believe it. I wanted these stories to go on and on. God Bless him. Thanks for the stories just the same. Looking forward to the third one due out in May 2010.

Just finished HORNETS' NEST. Mourning the end of my Stieg Larsson addiction. A rarity that each book in the trilogy was stronger than the one preceding it. I am so happy to have had the joy of reading his work. I shall miss his voice.
