I just finished reading The Girl Who Played With Fire. I was fully indulged into this master piece of writing and I am fully excited to read his other books with full anticipation. A real shame he passed away.

I am so sad to find that this author died at an early age. I have been transported by his first 2 books, and am anticipating "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest". His characters are full of life.

I finished Lisbeth Salander's book 3 and then, because it was the last in the trilogy, promptly immediately read it again. FANTASTIC BOOKS! These are the very best books I have read in a long long time. Stieg Larsson is/was just a stunning writer. Thank you! Are yoiu sure there isn't another (volume 4) secreted away somewhere?

Having just finished "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" I have to say I was impressed. Clearly it is a fine book - sadly it it at least 200 pages too long. Here's a writer with real talent desperately in need of an editor.

It took awhile to get into the story, as there's quite a lot of unneccesary discription and so many characters, but once I did , I couldn't put it down. Can wait to read the next two. How ad that there won't be anymore. :(

Just Finished The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest. And I have to say that I'm quite sad, due to the fact that, there aren't any more books and nor will there be. Thoutgh I've heard rumours that there is a 4th book. One could only hope.

First I only watched the movie "the girl with the dragon-tattoo" I liked but I didn't think it to be that great... Besides I don't really like the writing-style of most of the nordish authors... But then I read "the girl with the dragon-tattoo" and I was absolutly thrilled... Though I knew the story and the solution of the book it captivated me from the first to the last page... Read all the nearly 700 pages in one day...
Absolutly genius..

Sarah, may I ask? When did you see the movie? Here in the US it's not out at all.....
- D.C. (USA), 20 February 2010
Not every film is released in the US first. Believe it or not there is a thriving film business outside L.A.

I just finished reading The Girl Who Played With Fire. Why was mathematics so important to Salander?
- Irene Saunders 21 February 2010, 21 February 2010
I am not an expert ,but, some people with Asperger Syndrome have a enhanced understanding of maths an other analytical problems .In girl with the Dragon Tattoo it is mentioned on several occasions that Salander is thought to have Aspergers
