In one day I completed 'Fire' after a thrilling ride reading 'Dragon'. These books have re-newed my interest in reading which I have not done in a number of years. I went out shortly after that to purchase 'Hornet' however arrived after closing time. I am already suffering withdrawal symptons...and find myself at a loose end anxiously looking forward to the next read....thank you for a superb read..... i found myself totally transorted in the mind of salander and i hve managed to actually understand basic equations which i hated as a student. I hope the movie does justice to these outstanding novels which usually is not the case. May you R. I. P Mr Larsson.

Hey Lynette, I LOL-ed after reading your comment!! I suffered exactly the same problems as you and the others described here:
1, renewed my interest in reading fiction
2, suffering withdrawal symptoms!
3, anxious to read the next one, yet filled with sadness that the enjoyment would end too soon
I have also finished "Fire" and "Dragon" and am waiting for "Nest" to come out in paperback format. I wonder how long I can wait before I cave in and buy the hardcover version...

I am busy reading "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest", and I am enjoying it as much as the first 2 in the series.
Though I am unhappy with the knowledge that once I have read the very last word, that will be it forever for this compelling tale!
Stieg Larsson has given me great insight into the psyche of some of the most fascinating charaters I have ever read about.
Hope the movie does justice to your words Stieg...!

Just finished the second book in the millenium series, can't wait to read the third. A pity that this brilliant writer and activist is no more. He has given such an insight in to the ugly underbelly of one of the so called developed nations of the world!

I'm with all of you who love Stieg Larsson's books. My religion teaches that after death we still go on with our talents and keep improving them. I trust that is true and that Stieg Larsson is or has finished his books. After my life is over, I'll look forward to reading the rest of the series at last.

I have just finished reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and was totally enthralled by it from start to finish. It has re-ignited my interest in reading which I have not done in a number of years. I read from beginning to end in two sittings and found the plot gripping. I cannot praise the author and his work highly enough. I will be picking up the next book in the millenium series asap!
Heres to you Stieg, a master of your craft.

I think Larsson should no more be compared with John Grisham or Dan Brown. He is head and shoulder above them. Reviewers should now start comparing him with Dostoevsky or Borges. Period!
