What a great Christmas! My wife bought me "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" from Amazon UK. Only took about 5 days to get to the States!

The world lost a wonderful writer. "Tattoo" and "Fire" were great reads. Looking forward to reading the final book.

At first I thought that there were only two books...but when i finished reading the 2nd book a few days ago and found out there was a third book I was so relieved! I'm going to buy the book as soon as possible....Stieg Larsson was one hell of a writer.

None which have been translated to English, I think. He has written articles an shorter books on politics, but you would have to learn Swedish to read them

I discovered The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in a book shop in Sanur Bali. I could not put it down. I went back to look for another book and found the Girl who played with fire..I love the character Lisbeth Salander and I am sad that we do not get to have more of her adventures. To create such a character and have that person come to life in a book is like reading about a real person. He died too young.

This trilogy is an astounding achievement. What Larsson would have ben able to create had he lived just boggles the mind. I have listened to the audio versions of 2.5 of the books end to end. I am already feeling that sense of loss that one feels when approaching the end of a good read/listen. I just hate the thought of finishing the third novel. On the other hand, these are the sorts of books that, in about three or four years, I will read end to end rather than listen to.

Just finished the "Girl with with the Dragon Tatoo" and I am lucky enough to have the second one of the series already at hand. Absolutely astonishing, spellbinding creative writing and so addictive....
Hope to see the original movie version with subtitles and not a washed down Hollywood remake. What's the matter with the US moviegoers- can't they read?
