My husband and I listend to I and II on audible...loved every blazing second of both. Listened to some chapters twice, just because. He got ahead of me a few times, because he commutes and has 3 hours in the car a day. We just had international guests from Denmark, and we talked for two days about the books and the movies. Check out the trailers on youtube - in all different languages. It's a tiny fix, I realize, but it'll keep you hooked - me

Is it possible that Stieg Larsson did not really die of this massive heart attack naturally? Could it have been induced through a drug or lethal injection ? it seems that someone might have gotten to sensitive to Stieg's fiction. Its just a thought thats been running through me - as i'm reading his books.

I had the exact same suspicion while I was reading his books. His expose of corruption in the higher echelons of the financial world must make uncomfortable reading for many influencial people.

I've read all three of the Millennium trilogy in the last couple of weeks. I am very rarely forced to read without stopping books of nearly 600 pages but these accomplished that. Stieg Larsson died of the same thing that killed my father, a massive myocardial infarction and it occurred to me that one could find clues to Stieg's lifestyle in his books that could have led to such a disorder, as they did to my father. Excessive smoking is mentioned in the hero and others, together with excessive drinking. A 'foodie' attitude which was shown by the rather rich diet of some characters and the unhealthy, pizza filled diets of others. Lack of exercise in all but Figurola with the odd burst of activity by the hero, which is worse than none. Depression, overworking and brooding can be added to the mix. If these even partially reflect the choices of the author he was slowly killing himself and I think I detect in his frequent descriptions of people dying of heart attacks or having acute palpitations that he suspected that this was the destination toward which he was heading.

I've red Millennium I and II in 9 days and I've just started the number III. Meanwhile between I and II I've seen the first movie.
I'm looking foward to see the other 2 movies and to read the unfinished book (IV).
It's breathtaking! and so many interesting themes in the books. God bless you Stieg, I wish you are in heaven.

I have never dreaded finishing a book as much as the second one in the Millennium trilogy. I catch myself re-reading lines and paragraphs to try to prolong the ecstasy of reading this amazing author. I can't believe the gods allowed me to stumble onto this master piece. Only fifty pages left to read and then I wonder should I read the first one or the third one and then just read all three in chronological order? I have a long trans-Atlantic flight coming soon, but some thing tells me that the 8 hours will fly by. Mr. Larsson you are simply brilliant and I wish you had lived long enough to know how the world appreciates your art.

Had a 4 day weekend - devoted most of it to reading the first 2 books. The second was a birthday gift to my husband who had already read and loved the first book. Just ordered the the third on Amazon UK. It's so sad that he didn't live to see how much the world loves his books.

It was more than I needed to know about their sex lives. However, it was a fascinating storyline with tremendous moral value in the areas of life that really count. Mainly I'm writing this comment, though, to pay tribute to the Author's gift with regard to making the characters live. He made me want to meet and call several of the characters my friend. I'm looking forward to the third book being released in the U.S.

When will the Girl who Kicke the Hornets Nest be out ? I loved the first two and find it so tragic about his death.
