Boxed set edition of the Millennium Trilogy, the first volume of which, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, has been adapted as a major Hollywood film starring Daniel Craig to be released on the 26th December.
I still have not found a mass-market or trade paperback of "Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" in the US. It is available in England and elsewhere but not here.

I can't either here in Canada! I have both the first 2 in soft and the last in hardcover. Harder to read but still couldn't put it down!!

Please, please don't let the Americans make a movie version. Not only do they manage to turn every story into something that centres on American ideology; their movies are mostly tacky and tasteless. Considering what the Americans are attempting to do to Wikileaks and Julian Assange; it would be the ultimate insult to Steig Larson and the height of irony, to have that secrecy obsessed country produce such a movie.

sucks for you because they are already making it starring daniel craig

I won't see the American version, don't need to. It was done right the first time.

Recently read that Stieg Larsson was a fan of Harlan Ellison and did an interview with Ellison for TT.
Does anybody have a link to that interview? It would be fascinating to read...

Can you tell me when the book "The girl that kicked the hornets nest" will be released in paperback? I have the other 2 in paperback and would like to have this one in paperback if I could. Thank you very much.
- Gail Bays, 19 May 2011
It's been out for a while Gail.
- Jeremy, 19 May 2011
What I believe she is referring to is NOT the large print edition.
- Carli, 20 May 2011
You can buy it from Angus and Robertson
- Boompsii, 1 June 2011
It's not released in the vintage black lizard format yet. Random House says they plan two releases but didn't say when.

The trilogy is very compelling to read from the beginning of the first book to the end of the last book, the narrative is neat and polished, the dramatic tension never lets it go, and the character develpment is great in the cases of the main stars Lisbeth Salander and Peter Bllomkvist, in every book however I see some shortcomings like movie action scenes difficult to believe and references to the same issues over and over again. It is advisable to read them in the proper order so as to get a better perspective since in each volume there are references to events described in those volumes preceding them.
