Oh my God! I am so sad that I will never be able to read more than three novels by this wonderful author. I picked up the first book because of the catchy title and the fact he was Swedish, as was my mother. I quickly finished it and searched for his second novel. I have not been moved by a novel in many years as I have been with The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo, and The Girl Who Played With Fire is just as promising. What a wonderful heroine! I will miss her.

I read in the newspapers that the revenues of the books etc. will only go to the father and brother of Larssons, the woman with he lived 30 years will not get any money!!!

Anyone know can you order the third book in English or has it not actually been translated yet? Loved the first two, Lisbeth Salander is one freeeeeaky lady...

Actually, it's not a trilogy as such; the author had planned 10 books in this series but he died having only completed three. That's why the third book doesn't really finish the story and you're left with a ravaging withdrawal symptom.

well, since it's a trilogy, there is little sense in having a fourth book. i haven't read the 3rd book, but if stieg larsson is as consistent as he is good, then all stories will be told by the end of the 3rd book. hence, a trilogy.
i'm still hoping that the characters, especially lisbeth salander, will "move on" to another series.
