I am counting the hours until the unabridged audio version of The Girl Who Played With Fire is ready to download to my IPOD.... all 18 hours. I am about to leave on a very long road trip and Lisbeth will be with me the whole way. I loved the first book and was so sad to learn that Larsson left us too soon.

Fantastic Writer. What a shame. Someone that understands the need to develop characters and not just write a story. Still, I've read just the first book. Finished it in three days. What a read. Lizbeth is quite amazing. Do not upset this young lady.

Does anyone have an idea of Larsson's literary influences? I'm trying to create a page for him on infloox.com and I have to list his influences. Only managed to find some obscure (??) Swedish ones on the Wikipedia page. please help!
