Boxed set edition of the Millennium Trilogy, the first volume of which, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, has been adapted as a major Hollywood film starring Daniel Craig to be released on the 26th December.
The book is 465 pages. I started it in the Barnes and Noble over a cup of coffee on Sunday afternoon. Within the first 15 pages, I knew I had to buy the book, something I don't usually do. I finished the book Wednesday morning around 3 am. I knew when Salander threw Blomkvist's Christmas present in the garbage that there had to be a sequel. No one would leave this character hanging like this. Don't start this book if you don't have time to finish it. Once you start, you won't want to put it down. You become so invested in the characters that their fate is really important to you. We still don't know Salander's secret and judging by the secrets in this book, it must be a doozie. Looks like I'll have to wait till sometime after the first of the year to find out. Patience is not my strong suit. Bummer.
