Having finished the second Millennium novel it is clear the late Steig Larsson has delivered a series of outstanding quality set at a furious pace. It may be a well worn cliché about novels being so engrossing that you can't put them down but it certainly applies to Larsson's work. The themes of corporate greed, sexual violence and individual power and handled with confidence and insight. Nevertheless the true strength of the novel is the complex and rich plot which moves at a pace that is breathtaking and riveting. It would appear that Larsson has set a new benchmark for crime fiction and his ever increasing legion of fans eagerly await the last instalment.

What am I going to do for reading material now that I have started reading these masterpieces? I am on the Girl Who Played With Fire and I am totally hooked. I read the first book in 3 days, I am trying to make the second book last a bit longer. Don't know if I am going to be able to do it.
